Climate change will affect crops...
Posted by Dhairya Thakker(Admin) at 1:08 AM Labels: climate changeAs per a climate change expert Mr. R.K. Pachauri, rising temperatures will take it's toll on the yield of crops. As per him, wheat yields would fall by 5-10% with every increase of 1 degree celsius. This especially would be in the case of the Indian subcontinent, particularly India.(source:- The Times of India)
Various sources have claimed India would be amongst the worst sufferers of the effect of Global warming and this latest bit of news only justifies that.
